Sponsor a Scholar
For $2,500 you can support a scholar for one year including the cost of tuition, books, academic and leadership support.
Donors will be matched with a scholar and receive two updates a year on their academic and community service work and have the opportunity to name the scholarship in honor of a loved one.
If you commit to a scholar’s entire education, you will have the opportunity to get video updates from sponsee, the option for a one-on-one Zoom call, and annual updates after they graduate.
Education is the cornerstone of eradicating poverty and fostering sustainable community-led social change and too many talented and promising students across the developing world do not have access to higher education because of a lack of funds.
When all people have opportunities, we all benefit by living in a safer, healthier and more just world. You have the opportunity to help talented and deserving students achieve their dreams.
Your contribution of any amount will make a difference. Because we are a small organization with such a global reach, community support is fundamental to our success. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank You!

Dr. Onesai Chiguvare led the Professional Networking Program of the Medical Scholar Board in 2023. She is a WMI Graduate Scholar of Medicine and Surgery from Zimbabwe. During her term as a Medical Scholar Board leader, Onesai anchored 4 Professional Networking sessions for the WMI Medical Scholar Community. Medical Scholars were able to create valuable connections, share their experiences and learn from the experience of others. We are proud of the work done by this inaugural scholar-led Board in 2023. WMI Scholar, Jeannette Iranzi, volunteered over 200 hours tackling health and environmental issues in Rusizi district, Rwanda, through sustainable tree planting programs. This helped in preventing soil erosion, and protecting the crops planted by members of the local community hence improving the social economic status of the population. We are happy to support scholars like Jeannette to carry out sustainable green projects in their community.
