Support our United in Hope Campaign

WMI is uniquely poised to build local response to COVID-19 in vulnerable and remote regions of the world. Across the 44 countries where we work, WMI Scholars are on the forefront of addressing the health, economic and food security impacts caused by COVID-19. Currently, we are seeking urgent resources so that WMI Scholars are able to lead efforts to address COVID-19 in their communities. Read our full COVID-19 strategy here.

Your contribution of any amount will make a difference. Because we are a small organization with such a global reach, community support is fundamental to our success. All donations are tax deductible.

Clarisse Mutimukeye, a medical doctor in Rwanda, is part of a national effort to screen and test at various sites, including Kigali International Airport.

In anticipation of lockdown in Nepal, Shashank Timilsina collaborated with local clubs to establish a handwashing booth near his university.

WMI’s first COVID-19: Community Response Grant awardee Philip Kabiru has already produced 1000 reusable cloth masks through his NGO, The Kiini Sustainable Initiative, in Kenya.
